WMD Guns NiB-X 8.6 BO Rifle

Introducing the WMD Guns 8.6 BO rifle.  The round was designed and developed by Q using a .338 projectile, .308 bolt face, and modified 6.5 Creedmoor brass, the 8.6 BLK packs a serious punch in both subsonic and supersonic loads thanks to its unique, super-fast 1:3 twist. The rifle is shipped with a ballistic nylon tactical carry bag and comes with a box of Gorilla Ammunition 8.6 Blackout 300 gr Sierra MatchKing subsonic target ammunition optimized for either the 12” or 16” barrel.  The platform comes with the same quality features as our WMD Guns’ Big Beast 308 platform.

All exterior surfaces and key internal components permanently coated in the NiB-X or Nitromet processes for extraordinary corrosion resistance, permanently “lubricious” feel, and ferocious wear & abrasion resistance.

• Features WMD’s renowned NiB-X bolt carrier group.

• 12” or 16” 4150 CMV barrel with 1:3 twist and nitrided for exceptional, long-term accuracy.

• Free-floating 6061 Aluminum MLOK handguard.  Coated with NiB-X for durability.

• Lower Receiver: Billet 7075-T6 Aluminum with Front Magazine Well Finger Grips and NiB-X Nickel Boron Coated for Durability

• Upper Receiver: Billet 7075-T6 Aluminum NiB-X coated for lubricity and durability.

• Barrel Extension: DPMS style NiB-X coated barrel extension for extremely smooth locking and unlocking with the bolt.

• Carbine Length Gas System: Low Profile adjustable Gas Block, CNC Machined from 4140 Steel and NiB-X finished, Nitromet QPQ Gas Tube, direct impingement

• Bolt Carrier Group: DPMS style, MPI Tested, NiB-X coated for reliability and ease of cleaning, properly staked gas key

• Fire Control Group: 2 stage NiB-X coated trigger.  2 pound first stage and 2.5 pound break.  The NiB-X coating provides smooth, consistent pull, break and reset for the life of the platform.
