It takes a lot to wear out the parts of an AR bolt carrier group, but an avid shooter can do it. If you find yourself needing BCG replacement parts, trust the team at WMD Guns for reliable components made to exact military specifications.
Our new bolt assemblies for the AR platform are made for smooth action and excellent longevity. These parts are made with case-hardened 9310 alloy steel, then shot peened and magnetic particle inspected. Each unit features a high-performance extractor, gas rings, ejector and springs, and O-ring buffer to render it ready for installation.
We have bolt assemblies for sale for the following calibers:
In a gun with many moving parts, every piece matters. That’s why we stock components like firing pins and retention pins, gas keys, and AR-10 and AR-15 cam pins.
Our NiB-X® coating is of particular benefit to replacement gas keys, as these parts face the greatest exposure to carbon buildup and should never be reused after removal. The resilience and lubricity of nickel boron affords a measurable improvement in extending the lifespan of these parts.
The direct gas impingement design of the AR platform renders the bolt particularly prone to carbon buildup. One of the principal advantages of having a high-performance nickel boron coating on your bolt carrier and its components is that this substance sheds carbon much more easily than many other finishes.
Since our proprietary formulation of nickel boron coating, NiB-X®, is inherently hard and slick, it keeps moving parts working smoothly and reliably even when the firearm is dirty. It also allows the user to wipe carbon off with a soft rag and light pressure rather than needing harsh solvents, hard bristles and elbow grease.
Our AR bolt parts inventory includes numerous components featuring this premium coating.
The team at WMD Guns takes pride in offering everything required to build or upgrade an AR-10 or AR-15, from forged and billet receivers to convenient parts kits.
Use our secure checkout process to order the BCG parts you need to update your bolt and anything else on your gun that needs attention. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
